Dr. Taraneh Sowlati chaired the 2022 CORS/INFORMS International Conference that was hosted in Vancouver from June 5 to June 8. This international conference is one of the well-known learning and connecting events for the Operations Research, Management Science, and Analytics scholars.

Ph.D. candidate Sahar Ahmadvand won the 2022 David Martell Student Paper Prize in Forestry during the conference for presenting her paper “A robust optimization model for tactical planning of the forest-based biomass supply chain for syngas production”.
